As me and Chris said, Lot numbers 2000 to 2800 were produced from Autumn 1935 - December 1935

I have also exchanged emails with him about the lid and also ask about it being an m35. My fear was he was being purposely evasive about it. I ask if it had a dome stamp and he replied that if it did he would be asking much more. I think it's been repainted also. IMHO

I beleive the serified font on the ET stamp makes it an early M35, I'm not convinced with the paint either.

It looks like a post war repaint and original decal (or decals) are under the repaint personally if its the right price i would make a restoration project out of it

If you think that is the right price to get a helmet with a post war repaint to take of to reveal the original
paint and decals that's your choice.

Just to be clear when I spoke with the seller he informed me it had fake decals on it that he had removed. He is well aware it has been tampered with. I wouldn't buy it expecting to find anything under that paint but metal IMHO.
