A nice Luftwaffe helmet! Have always thought the wear on a lid adds character to it. In all likelihood, it got to its present state through hard use. Helmets in near mint condition just don't have that 'gritty' feel to them.

Anyway, Marty said it all. So refreshing to see a helmet that doesn't require analysis!
