M40/M42 Heer? Kriegs? Im so lost Please Help

My grandmother recently passed away so we were cleaning out her house and I came across this German Helmet. I'm just wondering what kind it is so I can get a little history on it. Maybe even put it up for sell if it's worth anything to help cover some things my grandmother left behind. Any information would be great Thxs

It is a Heer mod 42 and genuine to me.
It could certainly cover some costs you have at the momment.

Really? what would your guess be on a price if I were to sell it I would like to know. Also what does the numbers stamped in it mean?

Can you supply shots of the other rivets?
The liner in my opinion looks like it could be an original but a replacement as the rivet I see looks to be a mismatch.

ET is the factory where it was made, and then the size ...if I recall it right.
I can't give you an exacte estimation, but I would guess around 3 to 400 €.
But you are about to get further and better details by other members.

yes I do have to agree with René, there is a probleme with the rivets, they have been changed. So could the liner be.
