What ya'll think of this one?...besides the drawstring and missing liner split pin, and lack of a strap

Looks like a decent enough lid if you can get it cheap enough. Nice decal and certainly original paint. Interesting to see the early chinstrap bales on a 1940 dated ring. Love the leather liner though, very nice.

Does anyone think it looks like smooth paint, or has the rough paint been worn down smooth?

No washers on the liner pins, maybe a re-lined shell? Otherwise not bad if the price is right!
