M40 SD Heer helmet...

What should be the best chinstrap for it?

Nice helmet, good luck on finding the right strap! They are not cheap i'm afraid,usually just over the hundred pounds mark. Leon.

Aren't those chinstraps ridicilous Ken N on his German Helments inc site has some real ones but as stated pretty high. Summer Vac Militaria had some nice ones here while back at a lot cheaper price. I guess they are in high demand a awafully lot of helmets don't have them and the dealers know it. timothy

I know Summer Vac Militaria have them but I've allready wrote 4 times to him to buy some but he never answer my mails...

Does someone knows how that comes???

you do know that's not the original liner right ? Important detail if you are going to spend money to complete it.

Okay, why it is not the Original liner? I guess it's the very Original liner to this helmet... I can't see why not...
