M40 SD luft Tropical Camo

Hi all, Here is a camo that I have had for a while. It is an SE66, lot # 31444. The swastika either took an unfortunate hit in the field or was defaced by the vet. I still don't know why the pictures upload in a different order than how I selected them. I hope that that is not too annoying, and I hope you like the lid. Jim G.

it looks good to me and it was denazified, but when and by whom, I have no idea.

jim thats a beauty mate true one looker, the camo and the killer liner makes up for the denazified adler imo

I do not think it was denazified, it took a hit in the field of some time causing the damage to me. These painted around LW helmets are nice, when did you pick this one up Jim?

I got it from Billy Shea at a show I think about 10 years ago or so. Regarding the damage to the decal, Billy said he thought it was intentionally defaced, but I really do not think so. To me it looks like it was probably combat related, but I guess I will never know. It really doesn't hurt the piece too much either way to me, as to me the vet defaced helmets have a little extra karma. I do like that winter camo! Jim G.
