Hello. I need some opinions on this helmet.
See any red flags?

Any opinions, please?
Any sign of a maker's mark Anton? Should be inside the left side or at the rear. I tried to zoom in but couldn't make anything out. Production number is visible, i.e. 5185. Not sure about the chinstrap but the liner seems ok at first glance.
Well it looks good to me!
i like the helmet but im a bit unsure of the mark 5185 as the 5 is really heavy but the other 5 is bearly readable which is odd

Crisp decal photos are always a must. Overall it has a good chance , I think it's an ET shell.
I bought this helmet today. Paid around 400€, which IMO isn't that bad for a SD LW with name etc. Imo it's original, but just wanted some opinions . I've asked the seller for a pic on the makers mark (just to be sure). Doesn't it look small?
400 was a good price when you get it can you tell us the name as i think it may be postwar (its been electrostenciled in(the russians did that to a lot of weapons and equiptment that they captured)) still a beuty helmet
tom
I will, but you can see the name if you enlarge the pic. It says "Boestch Uffz"
So it's common that they namned them postwar?
no i think it may have been named postwar by a guy in a shed (possibly)
