M40 U.S. Vet Bringback. Original Repaint?

Local gent is offering this helmet for sale. My question to you guys is, is it a period repaint, and is it worth $300 (that's what he wants for it!)

A single decal reissue Model 35. It looks original and $300.00 is All that it is worth with a liner like that. My opinion for what its worth.

Sad liner but it looks like a good honest example of an M35 reissue.

Hi, looks to be a period "hand brushed" over paint as the paint does not go under the liner band and the decal has been painted around. I think that $300 is top end for this one in that condition. Leon.
