Is this m40 worth the price?

Article about: Didnt get it. Here is another m42 army for \\$245. It has paint drips on it and liner is in pretty bad shape. Ok price?

    That may not be bloodstains. Someone on this very forum explaining previously that leather will often take on a reddish appearance when exposed to water. While it may look like blood it's probably only the effects of moisture. Now if there were signs of bloodstains elsewhere on the helmet. That would be different.

    you can buy genuine liners with rivets/pins for a small price,why indeed have a repro,if you require one sir,my new found aquatance has several for sale at a very fair price,nice helmets by the way,regards,george w
