Any chance of better pic in the sunlight and ask for some good closeups of the paint too. I like the name.
Gotta be truthful, it looks promising.
Original helmet, looks to be un-messed with, name looks ok, but as for the camo? you'd need much better pictures, taken in daylight, however, its not a pattern that is often copied
I think 350 Euro is a fair price for an M42 complete...........if the camo's real, you'll have hit the jackpot
See if you can get some close ups of the camo
that looks fantastic, well as John said about the camo, I'd be careful I've bought several helmets with fake camo in the past.
Thanks everyone, Ill get more pics from seller....dollars not euros.
Ryan
As they have said it looks promising but daylight pictures are a must! Sad to say but ss and camo's are almost the number one fakes.
Is this thru another collector or someone who knows nothing about german collectibles?
regards, Ty
Hi Ryan, I agree, much better pics are needed.
Just for interests sake, here is the info on the Feldpost number in the back of the helmet.

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

I like the interior, more pic please

Hi Ryan,
Forget about the camo, I would take it just for that interior!
