    Default M42 Double Decal RAD

I posted this one a few years ago but it is a beautiful day and I took some new pictures so here it is. A well used ET66 shell. The lot number is hard to make out as there is a period painted “40” (a rack number?) over it. The liner and RB numbered strap remain and are in good shape. The ET Adler has some damage, as does the RAD bird but both still display well. Not as nice as Frank’s example but I am lucky to have found one of these in any condition. Hope you like it. Jim H.

Very nice Jim , I think both decals are still very attractive especially the RAD one. And that's the one in this case which counts more :-)
I have a RAD M42 DD with number 60 painted on the front rim , maybe same unit :-)

PS The new photos are fantastic , great job on those.

Insanely good condition on that one very cool.
I am surprised that even the rubbed areas are still shiny, too.
If you have more pictures, post in in the relic helmet sub forum, it deserves its own thread.

A great specimen Jim. And considering it’s “been there look” what a nice supple looking liner. Thanks for showing.

Pretty cool Jim - not easy to find so like you say, nice to have in any condition.
That said - i think both decals still look pretty good - worn but mostly still there.
