Yes, so rare, that it in fact does not exist.
It's a rear marked EF that should have 0 decals, unless it's Polizei, which it is not.
Just another ruined late war ND M42.

thank you for your answer @PotatoDigger

i had mixed feelings when is saw it, and you have confirmed it. I have no words for people who destroy ND helmets with decals

    Have a good evening,

Actually looking at the lot number it could have been in the decal range, but even if, then it should still have just one decal and not two.
It also looks very shiny, probably polished or maybe a type of varnish has been applied.

Yeah the Heer decal is ok but the tricolor was added after the war.

Thank you guys for your replies i noticed the shine also..

I don‘t like to buy a helmet for that price, which is not 100% original.
The seller has other „doubtful“ helmets in my opinion, for example snow camo.

Great that you are here to help! Wish you all a good day

And a highly cleaned, polished example. Not what you really want. You want something that exemplifies these lids as they existed during WW2.

@AndyM35 exactly my opinion, i like traces of war and the "been there" look much more than polished, shiny helmets.

I would think one should not buy a helmet that is not origianl "regardless" of price. Just my view.
