Article about: Hello, can you please help me with identification this Helmet ? Idk which factory made this Helmet, i think it's qvl but it's hard to read it. i Hope it's an original Helmet , after war pain

    Hello, can you please help me with identification this Helmet ? Idk which factory made this Helmet, i think it's qvl but it's hard to read it. i Hope it's an original Helmet , after war painted at Black by Czech firefighters. Thank you very much for help.

    Looks like you are correct with the maker and post-war use.
    Looks nice!
    More experienced eyes than mine may confirm.

    There is a qvl62 with your same lot number,and also 'lacking' the v in one of the 2 great lot number lists out there.

    Thanks ! And what you think about the Black color? Try to remove it? Or let the Helmet in this condition ?

    Leave it alone.If you want to see what a stripped 'Czech' helmet looks like I have one posted on this forum.It is a nice helmet with
    an interesting liner also.
    Hope you get more replies to your thread soon.

    And what you think about the price? I paid 58 €. What is real value for this helmet in this condition?

    We don't really do evaluations on this forum, but 58€ is a very respectable price for a helmet like this, I'd say the going rate (in Germany) for equal ones is 70-100€.
