M42 Luftwaffe Helmet hkp62

I've been offered this M42 Luftwaffe helmet today. I believe it to be genuine, but I was wanting
some opinions on authenticity.

Can't see the decal well...but chances are very good it is original as the rest of the helmet is correct. Maybe a nice close up would confirm my opinion

From the photos it looks like a nice M42. It is in the lot # range for having a decal.

Can't see the decal well enough to see if it is a good one but wear and condition seem to match up so I think it stands a good chance of being all good.

Edit: Jeez: David beat me to it. Glad I'm in line with his views

Was going to say almost the exact same. I don't see anything wrong, but a nice clear sharp close up of the decal would be great.

Hi, agree with the gents above, appears all correct but as ever the decal will make or break it, but my instinct is that it is fine. As for value, i always say something is worth what you are willing to pay. Leon.

In my opinion the price is reasonable. Is the Lot number 1961? If so well in the range of an M42 that would of had a decal.
I like it. A close up of the decal would help.
