    Nice pick up! Looks all good from what I can see. I can't comment on the chin strap. But all else looks good.

    Probably unissued or very lightly worn. I'm happy to be proven wrong but I was told years ago that most unissued helmets did not have chin straps and often the liner strings were not tied. Maybe just a tall tale....

    I can't place it (my poor memory) but I think I've seen this one before...

    This was the first of three I picked up in the last week. By far the nicest M42 I have come across.

    Sorry to bring up an old thread, but this is a beautiful M42. I noticed on this one the inside appears to be textured as well whereas on others the inside appears to be smoother. Can anyone comment?

    thats rare find, they dont get much nicer than that one.
