M42 questions

I have seen this M42 for sale, but am confused by the lot number. Is that 1947 stamped under it?? Any thoughts appreciated.

The photo is pretty blurry,....but it looks to be a rear marked EF62 above the lot number.

No it's EF 64 weakly stamped

I was thinking $375 a little steep for a private sale, but on checking on-line maybe I am behind the times!

Hi, looks a nice enough EF made M42 to me. Price is a personal choice, but it seems there or there about's. Leon.

I have issues with it. The liner may have been messed with. The seam is near the front and not the rear as it almost always is. Doesn't make it Bad per se, but it does raise concern at least for me, it needs an in hand inspection. I would save my $$ for a nicer example.
