M42 snow camo

Hi Guys

the liner, strap on this on are great (no pics but trust me).
My concern is the camo. It looks old, but maybe to shiny.

I am bidding on it. Would love some cimments on the camo to make my bid def or not.
Have until tomorrow.

Hello stahl and welcome.

To me this looks like new paint; nothing like WW2 era snow camo. Why are you going to bid on it if the paint concerns you?

You will probably get more and better replies than mine later

If your bidding on it for its winter camo finish, then I would say not to bother. If you want it for the sake of it well thats up to you.

Looks like a Quist shell, post pics of the liner and strap, they may look great because they are not period and are reproductions. If the liner is original may be worth a cheeky bid , a very cheeky bid indeed ! and try and strip the post war paint off, never know whats underneath !!!
