Re: Mod 35 heer SD recondionned
Hi Titi, welcome to the forum.
Please be patient in getting answers. If people are unsure, it is best they don't reply and give you bad info.
I have some concerns over this helmet, re the paint and the decal. If offered to me, I would not buy it.
Cheers, Ade.

Re: Mod 35 heer SD recondionned
Hi. Yes, the paint does look "off". The shell is legit as is the liner band and the liner by the looks of it. It's an M35 - but again - not sure about the paint and the decals. When you say reconditioned - do you mean that you know the decals were put on after the war?
I too would probably save my money for a safer bet.

Re: Mod 35 heer SD recondionned
Yeah i tend to agree with the other's.
Paint is a bit too shiny for a late war refurb and decal is reacting with paint on national shield. It look's like it's flaking off under paint and that would never happen with an original. In my opinion the inside look's untouched as does the liner but the outside has been redone rather badly to try and improve value. It may have been in very poor shape when first found.I would strip the outside only and repaint the shell with correct paint and maybe a nice set of dry transfer's

Re: Mod 35 heer SD recondionned
Defenitly messed with !
- Very strange paint
- Very weird rust in the rim and back skirt
- what the hack is on that national decal ???
- Decal looks odd to me
- Steelband liner (not impossible but not an alu one for sure )
- Colour is off
My conclusion would be... stay - away
and like Han Sole used to say: I've got a bad feeling about this
