My first helmet!

The lid that I bought a few weeks ago finally came in today, cant believe how excited I was! Usually try to keep the boxes nice on things, but this one I couldn't get into fast enough!

When I picked it up the first thing I thought was "Dam this thing is heavy." I am real happy with my purchase, and I cant get enough of it.

Just want to say thanks to the guys on the forum who helped me out with the authentication on this one as well as others. It means a lot to a young guy like me that you are willing to help mentor a new "competitor" in the marketplace

I have posted some pictures for you enjoyment. I think I'm about due for a membership eh?

Looks a nice lid for your first buy. I hope the broken
liner fingers were taken into account in regards to
the price. My first 'real' German helmet was

Good price - good helmet. Now may I suggest filling out this purchase with field gear and uniform for a full size display? That is what I did years ago and it kept me focused. Cheers, NH

That's a great way to preserve history in a manner that is aesthetically teachable to other Neil, I might have to start working on that. Hope you can find me an original tunic
