Ah, good to see you here man. I see this is the beast you were talking about. Price is not terrible, but at the higher end. Semi relic that has been cleaned up a bit as has been said, not a bad one for first reference .

I don't mind this one, and I agree with the other comments.
Still not bad for a first lid.........!

I like this lid. Did you overpay? Well lets say you payed the normal price. All the parts look original, and I hope they all belong togehter, so you dont have a reconditioned relic lid, but like I said it all lokks good to me from here.
Nice salty m42, wish it was mine.

Very nice relic lid. The price is not too bad at all. I think that the liner and helmet is actually original to each other, because of the black colour. I have a M35 relic with original liner and the leather looks almost exactly the same. It's very rare that the leather is still intact on relic helmets. The liner "rivets" look a little off in some way. No pitting as far as i can see. Congrats mate.

I feel like my comment could have been interpreted as me being rude. I hope I didn't come across that way.

You bought a very nice helmet and it's a good start to your collection buddy.

Try Helmets2 He has some really good helmets.
