Well, this is what I have to show for my first 3months of proper collecting so far. Not much I know, but its a start. Not a patch on SweSA's collection though
The helmet on the left is/was a double decal Luftwaffe M35, its the only one that has a visible makers mark and lot number. Its an ET64 Lot number 3256 if its any help to anyone.

Nice lids. The others should have makers marks as well. Have a good look in daylight!

    My compliments!

    Hello Jim,
I see that you followed my advices concerning the way the cup must be fitted to the canteen..in my opinion it looks better now.
    Congrats for your first collection...
If i can give you another advice that will follow you in all your collecting life : quality is better than quantity, but if you can have both of them why not.
And follow our helmets experts advices on how not to clean your helmets, how not to treat the linings..etc...
Nice display, carry on the good work...
    Thanks

Thanks for the kind words fella's. Now Iv'e got over the initial 'gotta get some stuff 'faze I can relax a bit and start saving to get some nicer helmets. These few helmets have taught me a lot though. Its true what people say, you've really got to get your hands on the real thing.. Hopefully my next one will be a nice salty but un-messed with Heer M35 or M40. Fingers crossed.
