    Very, very juicy and nice! Are you sure it's a Heer decal? Sure looked very gold. Even under the areas where a bit of the black meets the eagle design ... but whatever it's a wonderful helmet and a great find for sure.

    Thanks guys..I'm to new at this to make the call. It sure looks gold to me. Could possibly be a helmet NS reissue with KM decals from another maker?

    Newbie question?? Is a toned decal a silver decal that has turned gold?

    Yes, toned Heer decals are ones which usually have had a lacquer coating which has aged to a golden/yellow hue.

    Thanks for the nice words guys. This sure looks like the decal was made Gold..I sure hope it is KM..it would be my first Here is a closer pic..

    That does look like a KM decal, and being an ns one its a good possibility it is. KM decals were layered with gold flakes, they are quite prominent to see. The picture below is one I own taken through a loop....And its a nice lid, and belt rig too

    Ok it's not very clear, but you should get the gist of it
