Well to my eye the decals look fine.The national shield has a nice "crazing to it and the bird has fantastic detail.They look to have the same amount of wear to the rest of the helmet,so i would be happy with them.As for the white band i have no idea about that,it's not my area of knowledge.

Eric, excellent example of a Luftwaffe Fire brigade helmet! They are uncommon to see and yours looks quite awesome! Awesome to find info on the vet who brought it back. Great research and just an overall cool piece!

very nice exemple,with vet bringback info great.

They are not seen very often.
