Recently picked up this DD (just!) LW M35 at a local antiques mkt. Unfortunately the paint finish is much diminished ; the decals are fragmentary and the liner had separated from the shell. However, what attracted me was the fact that the helmet was both named and also marked to 13 Batt., Flak Regt 33.
At £190 couldn't resist picking it up.
    Any comments welcome.

A nice battle worn and complete example at a steal of a price.

Hard to tell when/how it lost the decals
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

That's a rough looking helmet, but at a very good price, considering it comes with a period looking chinstrap.

Many thanks for the positive feedback.
From my perspective, despite its obvious faults, the helmet has loads of character, and the markings give give it some tangible history.
Out of interest, what are members thoughts on how unit markings /names effect desirability or value of helmets?
