Article about: Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could help Me find the guy who wore this helmet. It's a Luftwaffe M40. One name says, L W. H. H. Hahn The other says, L W. H W. Wilke

    Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could help Me find the guy who wore this helmet. It's a Luftwaffe M40.

    One name says,

    The other says,

    With out a service number or dog tag serial number might be very difficult. In 60 yrs. this helmet may have been sold may times. If the person you purchased it from may be able to put you into contact who he got it from Best of luck. The previous enlisted soldier may have died or parished in the Russian Gulag

    Nice looking original helmet.

    I am tempted to say this might have been issued to two women: L w H might equate to "Luftwaffe Helferin".

    I have an almost mint LS helmet named in the leather and skirt to Inge Hess. Nice handwriting, much nicer than a male soldiers scrawl. I bet she was a knockout...lol
