I'm a bit suspicious of the chinstrap. Even if it's an addition,
    the leather looks too new.........
    Regards,

    Steve.

My thoughts exactly, I'd like to see a shot of the stitching around the buckle.

I think the pins should show more wear or paint loss to be consistent to the overall paint wear of the shell. Hard to tell from these pictures if it is legitimate or not. It has a good look, but it believe a hands on would be required or much more detailed pictures. Decal looks liberated as previously stated and strap looks like a possible repro, liner look newer or replaced. Is it from a good/reliable source?

Hi Yes the chin strap is a good one with sand polished steel buckle. RB nr. 0/1151/0005 I purchased this one from hunmilitaria on WAF, I trust this guy, double checked it before purchasing and I really like it. It's in near mint condition. It's in great shape.

Here's some more pics for you.

Here's a detail shot of the camo. If you look closely you can still spot the brush strokes.

IMO 100% original vehicle paint. A faker would have a hard time copying this kind of wear. Obviously a lid that saw a lot of action and perhaps different front lines.
If it doesn't sell I won't regret keeping it.
