Take care with Danish helmet. Lots of them was never issued, but bought by the state post war and used by our firemen and civil protection ( Civilforsvaret). BTW I'm Danish.

Hey Bas Jonkers.
The helmet was reissued after the war by Danish forces, if I am not mistaken: LFR stands for Lokal Forsvars Regiment (Local Defence Regiment) and V is the 5th Regiment.
If I am not off my trail: LFR are sort of like the Home Guard, local volunteers who receive military training and are called in if there is an invasion.
I took some better pictures of the helmet some time ago and I am pretty sure it is a Kriegsmarine decal hidden underneath. I also discovered a name, but it is very hard to read.
One question though: I have found no maker markings etc, the only stamp I have found is on top, is this how it is supposed to be or are there markings somewhere else where I haven't looked?:
Best Regards
Vegard T.
