You Say Snow I say No haha. Hi there welcome to the forum hope you are having a good time! I’m sorry but my opinion on this the camo is fake. The Scratches seem like, “workshop scratches” they are predictable and the paint looks to have been brushed on recently that is just my opinion wait for the more experienced members opinions of course. Have a great one!

Paint on the interior looks period while on the outside it looks like it was mixed at Bunnings Hardware just last week!
Could be some nice original paint to be liberated in that white gloss.

Thanks I am not too surprised.
Appreciate your post!

I suppose they at least went to the trouble of buying a custom colour!
Thanks a lot.

Sorry to say, but i concur with you suspicions. Looks a little too fresh for my tastes and while i typically do not default to the standard "tool mark" criticism, in this case I would agree that the scratches do not appear to be old or from normal wear. And the carpet doesn't match the drapes....
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

Thanks for checking this out,I value your opinions.

Liner and strap are good, white paint is post war.
-
Thank you.
Would you recommend leaving the paint alone or removing?

I would agree with the other comments about the exterior paint. Post war with suspicious looking tool marks.
Other members have had quite good success in removing exterior paint - if i was in your position i would try this, as the helmet does not look right as it is.
