I think I have seen these referred to as Austrian also. A very good reinforcement to the crown.

I know that Hungarian fireman's had this type of comb. but don't think they used a badge at the front. but Serbian and Yugoslavian used a badge at the front and a similar comb . but used on a m34 like this have not come across yet.
