Later war Q (Quist) M40 helmet.
Liner looks OK, can't comment on chin strap. Best wait for others to respond as these are not my forte.
Looks at some of the major dealers for comparative examples to determine price.

From what I can see by the photos, it appears to be either an unissued or very lightly used Quist M40, desirable Shell Size 66...
If you were given this one for Free, you've done very good for yourself....

A good Quist M40, looks to have had a "rough texture" over paint as the interior looks much smoother. Is there a decal hiding underneath the rough paint? Leon.
