Good grief....They're mating!!!

The last time I saw two SA helmets in such a position was at Bad Wiessee, on a heady summer evening in 1934. I hear the party was spoiled shortly thereafter however.... poor Ernie.
Nice one Jim. I know what you mean about the ugly duckling thing, but they are rare and any lid collector worth his salt has to appreciate them I would very much like one, and I don't really do civic stuff.

Hopefully, Ned, they will NOT make any LITTLE ones ( if you catch my drift)! Cheers, Jim G.

Very nice helmets Jim.
I do like them.

If so, sell the pups. I think they would go rather quickly.
Very cool helmet Jim.

I have owned examples in both the light and dark color. In my opinion, the darker are more difficult to find. I have always considered these to have been worn by the SA Wehrmannschaft, who wore a uniform in a darker brown than the standard SA tunic.
