Chris, any chance of seeing the internal area where the bead is, in my ref book a one piece has no bead around the circumference and it may be a two piece
Just had another look further, this is classed as a "two piece" because it has the bead, however it is made from a complete single sheet of steel and the bead is forged into it, a true one piece is also made from a complete sheet of steel but no bead has been introduced, confusing aint it

I fully agree with you Eric as i said above both are made from one sheet of steel but referred to as a two piece, which in my thinking is wrong because a three piece has three pieces of steel , the main dome with front and rear skirts either welded or spot welded down the sides, in other words its a misnomer which really should be reclassed
Sorry Dave I posted while you were editing your post and I agree.

Dave that was some very interresting info you gave us .
It should be in a different group than the two piece. just like you saided
chris
Well i'm not 100% sure but there must be some who think that a two piece means just that, the top is joined to the bottom by means of the bead which of course isnt true and by rights the term two piece ought to be reclassed as one piece beaded
I agree with you Dave.
