Is this one legit. I have a pair of original metal helmet decals to a DAK helmet which I might consider adding to this one?

No sorry I don´t. Been looking for a pith helmet without the insignas but with a suitable patina so I could apply the ones in my collection to one. Seems like I have found it now

I added insignia to my first pattern sun helmet. Next, you will have to seek out some tropical uniform items to go with it!
