Opinions and information needed

Hi guys, I need your opinions on this helmet, obviously the liner is not original, other than that what can you tell me about it? This guy is proposing trading this helmet, a belt buckle (will make different thread for it) and a bayonet (no pictures yet) for an artifact of mine that I paid 225$ for. How do you think I would be coming out on that deal? i.e. what's this worth in your opinon? What kind is it? Thank you in advance!

Thank you John, I figured as much as it doesn't look like any other one I've seen. Out of curiosity can you tell me what nationality it is or when it may have been used? I see "battle damage" on the top and what looks like a spanish name in the liner but I don't know...
