Opinions on M35 double decal Navy helmet

Could i please have some opinions on this helmet, wouldn't want to make any irrational decisions about buying before getting it scrutinized

I think it is Heer - the eagle is not 'gold' enough to me,and only toned
from age. I wouldn't pay the price of a Kriegsmarine ..........

Other than a missing chinstrap, with a few fingers from the liner
missing, and the string gone, it looks ok.

It has great paint overall and interesting battle damage !

I believe because of the salt in the water and air the navy helmets tended to rust quicker?this one without the bullet hole is in good nick,not sure about it,lv

thanks for the comments! asking pretty high price but i like the battle damage. Do not usually collect helmet's but this one has caught my attention and am giving it serious consideration! can i haggle on price considering it is not a Kriegsmarine??

I'd give it a go, the worst that he could say is no Its a nice helmet, even with the battle damage
