It seems to me (by colour and "fatness") the kind of eagle used by Quist.
Eric, the helmet is a good one. The size is a little small but not the smallest, maker is right for a Luftwaffe, chinstrap broken (common), the liner string is missing but can be replaced.

All original. It is interesting that the liner band looks like it is a reinforced aluminum band, but the chinstrap bales are rounded, like what be on a steel band. This helmet was probably assembled in 1940, during the transition from aluminum banded to steel banded liners. Jim G.
