Opinions on M40 police helmet appreciated

Looking at an M40 police helmet, do not know much about these types so I was looking for help on this one.

I suppose my main concerns are:

Is the paint correct? Are the decals original (I'm not sure what is going on with the one at the top) Does anything jump out at you as not being correct? And lastly, what it is worth?

I am waiting for closer pictures of the decals.

From this distance its impossible to tell if the paint and decals are original. You will need closer, in focus photos of the paint and decals. These photos the paint does not original, it looks much to brown.

Never seen a decal inside a helmet before.
