Hello. I was hoping for some opinions on this M40. It is a Q64 batch DN48. It looks like polizeidecals under the paint. Any opinions are welcome. Sorry some pics are turned the wrong way. Didnt know how to turn them with the mobile

IMO it's completely repainted, and the wire is not original. The strap is bad, and the liner is very likely to be bad also IMO.

Bad fake only think real about it is the helmet itself

Agree, repainted and pimped relic with bogus liner and wire. Not worth buying unless you want one like this, only the shell is original IMHO.

As all the others have said it has all the tell tail signs of a reworks helmet. If you compare these pictures to known good helmets and even camo helmets you will notice the subtle differences this one possesses. The bright orange rust is also a tell of forces wear.

Bad news for the helmet but hopefully some advice for future purchases.

Sorry,a very poor effort at a cammo.That wire is also a real bundle of laughs!!Here is a picture of another fake with similar wire to your example, Leon.
