    Default Police helmet?

Found this helmet at an auction, no decals unfortunately and I know its not worth much but I was just wondering if its an original helmet and original paint? I know these were used after the war aswell and there is a possibility that its been repainted. Im also curious about the symbol painted at the front, if anyone can recognize it? Any input is much appreciated! Thx

Can't tell if the liner is period or not. Someone else may know. These commercial M34's had many liner variations.

Other than that, I would suspect this being post war. No idea on the insignia.

Thanks! Hopefully someone can tell if the liner is period or not, and yes I also think its post war but not really sure. Was thinking about picking this up because the price is just right but I want to know more about it. The paint seems very shiny to me compared to other ones I've seen that seem to have more of a matte finish. But that might just be from aging.

I dont see the small holes in the headband of the liner though which I think is a good sign? I heard the holes were a sign of a post war helmet and non combat helmets.

There were many variations of liners. More than I've seen myself. Some war time liners had the preforations.
