The M34 civic helmet referred to here was used by civil police and fire units. Some had holes in the top for the comb, some didn't. Had the combat helmet in this thread been a police, it would be a Feldgendarmerie unit, or military field police. They would not use the M34 civic model.

I don't think there is anything original on this helmet, other than the shell itself, I would steer well clear of it
