Possible M34 Civilian Helmet

Need opinions on a possible M34 Helmet I'm looking at purchasing. Very grateful to Chris Cricket and Sir Payne for their assistance so far. I only have 4 pics so far and waiting on close-ups from the seller. Stamped DRV Hale with a large V next to the factory stamp. Rudimentary initials carved under the lid as well.

This is a M34.
It is in very bad condition,look to have been painted white post-war for ambulance.
What was the asking price?

Yes it is real.
But the price is way too high for this condition.
Do you know if it has decals on the side ?
If not that is a 20$ helmet.

I dont know waiting on side pics. If it has decals what value range?

The condition of the decals is a big deal.
But I think looking at the shell the decals if there is some are probably in very bad condition.
The value would not go up much.

The helmet Chris posted is the way to go in my opinion. Good price and descent condition.

I would say so Wow what a difference. Guys you have been so kind and you will always be consulted since I am primarily interested in buying german helmets. Poor guy I had to break the news to him. I offered 20 just to have it. But who is selling that M34? Would be interested.

There are no decals on the helmet by the way.
