Great thread!
I have a few, here is the first. It was a restoration project with some original and repro parts.
M35 ET62 #4272. First pattern Luftwaffe decal.
Liner is post war used Norway, dye removed. Drawstring is repro. Chinstrap is original wartime strap, but a replacement I bought, dated 1937. Liner band dated 1939.
Beautiful lid! I do love the M35 shape and one day I will own a M35 DD 1st pattern Adler!

Nice lids you all have posted! Here is my single decaled Luft which is the first helmet I ever bought. It came only with the liner band but recently I bought a original peace of leather in same size which will be put on it as soon it get in my hands. I am still looking for an original chinstrap.
Cheers Alex
Here`s my repainted Luft M40 hkp62.
Cheers.

That's one awesome lid. My favorite kind of liner
Here is my Q66
Here is another of my Lufty lids, a lid I posted in the Fall. It is an M35 ET66 #3652. First pattern Luftwaffe Eagle. Reinforced liner bands dated 1938. Chinstrap marked Wuppertal E, 1937, and LBA marked. Liner has written on it Peix and Rich Hammend. The exterior was painted in a rough textured paint but most has worn off, probably from field use. There are some traces of the textured paint on the rear of the shell, and over the decals. No signs of forced removal. Enjoy!
