Hi guys, a fellow member gave me the idea to start this thread, devoted to the often overlooked LS helmet. A gajillion varieties make this a good field to collect in, especially for a beginning collector as the prices are still pretty sensible; a rare thing in Stahlhelm collecting

This particular one is my only example as I tend to focus on combat lids, M35 Q64.

Here is mine, bought for a tenner in a surplus shop just after the fall of the wall when stuff was coming out of the east.

It was a pretty cool little trade... he was very happy to get rid of a "piece of clutter" in trade for landscaping mulch that would make his wife happy.
