Article about: I do own this piece and just was wondering what are the best ways of preserving it so it will not rust any more, also is it better to try to restore it or live it in condition as it is ? als

    I do own this piece and just was wondering what are the best ways of preserving it so it will not rust any more, also is it better to try to restore it or live it in condition as it is ?

    also any ideas on this item I do know its M18 and by remains of decal it looks like it is from the first world war, but any additional info will be much apreciated

    I would leave it as is mate, maybe someone else can tell you the best way to stabilise the rust, but it has more value to collectors if you just leave it be!
