Questionable Heer DD for verification please

I have found this helmet for $200, but have a big question mark over the 'other' decal - what is it? Also, the rivet look a tad larger than I am used to seeing. The German decals look more recent add-ons, but I would like your opinions please.

iIts a Norweigen re-issue that has had a repaint and bad decals applied, post war, its possible had another liner fitted as well, does the liner look red/brown in colour

Yes, it does look red/brown. I seem to recall reading on the Forum that it can be brought back to original colour with careful cleaning.

Yes, others say it can be cleaned ive never had to do it, but im afraid it wont alter the fact that its a re-issue with the bad decals, you could remove the decals and have it as a Norweigen helmet but i dont know how hard it would be to turn it all around, good luck with it, cheers dave

Al , before you do anything, lets see what others say, im trying to work out what decals were put on first, i think im right in what i said but id prefer more comments just to make sure

It's a piece of crap and the pictures were taken with crap smeared on the lense it seems ;-)
