    Default Re-issue Heer M35

Here is a m35 Heer lid I picked up in 1992 which i believe was re-issied at one point. The top layer of paint looks to have been brushed on, and I can see the national shield peaking out from the cracks in paint on the right side. The chin strap is missing. The liner is a small size 54, and its a little dried out, probably from spending some time in a hot attic. One thing that I do like about this one is there is a name stenciled on the inside of the rim "Gefr. Neugebauer",it's been painted over but still clearly visible. Also, the remains of a paper lable under the visor with the same name. It looks like it's seen some action. Thanks for looking, Rob.Click image for larger version.

Hi Rob, for me that is one of the most interesting single decal factory re-furb helmets I have ever seen. That personalisation that has been "over-painted" is fantastic. I love this ones character, what a find and I am not surprised you still have this one after so many years!! Thanks for showing it, Leon.

Nice honest reissue M35, the grey lined decal says it all. Great helmet!

I really like the model 35 reissues. History personified.

And 'Neugebauer' is such a cracker of a name too!!!!

This is the condition that I like them in - honest combat wear & lightly salted.
