Is it real? Moreover, is this site trustworthy?

hi . do an Internet search on this dealer, to be avoided. plenty of fake and doctored helmets go via that site. its a consignment site . last year was trying to pass off postwar mg42 clones as wartime issue only £1375.....cheers Paul

You need good pics to evaluate a helmet these small pics are worthless.

I wouldn't buy either unless better pics would convince me.

Thank you very much. By the way, does anyone know where one could purchase an original relic Fallschirmjäger helmet, preferably under $1000 USD? I couldn't find any for sale as of now....

Unfortunately you are unlikey to find even an Relic FSJ Helmet for $1000 !!
