Really need help deciding between Luftwaffe or Heer

The Heer helmet is an EF with correct HJ&K decal (if I see it correctly) The Luftwaffe decal may have a post war restoration on the swastika.
Either way both sets of pictures make it tough to decently evaluate the helmets.
Personally I'd save more money and get a better helmet.

rather than jumping in and buying one of these helmets presumably only based on pictures it may be worth you considering trying to get to Malvern military convention this sunday and having a look around what the dealers have on offer at least then even if you dont buy anything you can get a bit more of a feeling for what is good and what is bad

at the end of the day, it's you're choice! Make the decision on your own of take the hand of somebody who might have dubious and maybe beginner status themselves, the decal looks fine on the lufty..............but the paint makes me want to hurl!

I didn't even know there was a military fair on; and I'd love to go, but unfortunately I work on Sundays so I'm forced to miss this one. But I'll give these helmets a miss and wait until I've found a definite good example elsewhere. Thanks for the help!

Malvern is a bit of a trek,about 130 miles from home but well worth the trip as it is fairly large with a good range of items from vehicle parts to uniforms etc and plenty of deacs etc,another large fair coming up is Stoneleigh in january but again it is on a sunday

90% of helmets i see at fairs in the uk are messed with or fakes so dont go off what you see on most dealers tables they will all tell you they are genuine honest
