I haven't heard the name Quebec but I'll take that on board. The helmet I did buy didn't look too bad itself so fingers crossed it's a good one; plus on the website he SEEMS to state when a helmet's been restored. Still, thanks for the heads up!

There are lots of things to watch for and be cautious about - like repro
chinstraps - for one, and some of these 'original' lids may have been
'retouched' or 'enhanced', but with no mention of it.........

I'll keep my eyes open. I'll ensure anything I think about purchasing is posted here first! I'm not going to wind up buying fakes again, that's happened to me too many times in the past. Thanks for the concern Steve!
