    Default Recent Purchase

    Hello to you all,

I am a newbie to the site, and i wonder if any of you would cast your expert eyes over a recent acquisition i have made, this M40 is stamped EP64 and the No22447 on rear of the rim. Their are very faint shadowy remains of an eagle decal.
I would appreciate any comments, Thank you.

Seems to be a good honest lid. Good job. Would like to see a closer look at the decal or what's left of it.

Not a bad lid by the look of it. Decal could have been removed during the war due to regs. Welcome to the forum

It's an EF rather than EP (not a factory) btw. That factory often had bad stamps, and the skirt flare looks very EF.

Kradspam is correct (as usual) of course...It's EF rather than EP.
    cheers, Glenn
